What kind of money can an amateur adult website expect to make?

A friend and I are starting an adult website, and were wondering: when would we start to see a return on our investment? Given that our site is well-marketed, with affiliate programs, and quality content. If anyone has any ideas on this, please help, because we’re trying to figure out a budget.
